Usefulness of apps in everyday life

area	Why relevant/important
paying for things	New apps mean that you don’t have to carry cash in your pocket. You can pay for things in shops, to park your car, etc. You can also book restaurants and hotels.
communication	Apps like whatsapp mean that we can send and receive messages cost-free. It’s easier to keep in touch with friends and family, even if you don’t live close.
Twitter, Instagram	People can share experiences and useful information.  Artists can show their portfolios.
Other uses	Buying the ticket, checking in.  Boarding.  We can do this paperless. Leisure – listening to music, playing games.
BUT! relationships	Our face to face relationships can suffer.  Apps should never replace humans and real relationships!
