No “s” after hundred, thousand, million and billion when part of a number,

They can be plural in for example hundreds of books, thousands of cars.

 

Ordinal numbers and dates

We write 6 January or 6^th January, but we say the 6^th of January or January the 6^th.

We write 31 December or 31^st December, but we say the 31^st of December or December the 31^st.

1953 nineteen fifty three.

1908 nineteen hundred and eight or nineteen oh eight.
