BRITISH AND AMERICAN ENGLISH



This text includes some words used in American English. Can you give the corresponding British words?

Although she was only going to the center, Mary tackled her belt when she got into the car. Just for a couple of things she needn’t go to the mall, she could buy everything in the drugstore just opposite the parking lot. She and her boyfriend were going to the theatre that evening, but they haven’t decided whether to have dinner in a deli or just buy something to take out and eat it in her apartment. For dessert they could always have some cookies.
